I've been using biblegateway.com to look up verses for the Hammertime card and suggested it to my home group. One of them has set it as their homepage. Great tool especially with the verse a day.<\/strong><\/div>\n

There are alot of good ministeries that need help. but after studying the section on financial giving. I read closely what the NIV said and compared it to the verses we were given. Tithing demonstrates that I revere him, and I give back to him for giving me the ability to create this wealth. IN gladness, I give back to him that his store house may be full.<\/strong><\/div>\n

I am glad this series has begun. I hope that it will continue, and the rest of the bible will be taught. There are so many answers in the bible if we only look and study. Iron sharpens iron we need each other more than ever.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Isaiah 55:11 (NIV) It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. We tend to think that Bible study has to be hard and deep. Boy has Awaken dispelled that myth. Just Isaiah 55:11 says God's Word produces fruit. Time spent in it changes the heart of God's people. Just look around you and see the results it has produced!<\/strong><\/div>\n

This week the 2nd graders were Awesome! They were eager to look up their verses and most raised their hands waiting to read. Everyone committed to prayer and would bow their head and thank GOD for their lunch at school this week. I am so blessed and amazed with how much they understand!<\/strong><\/div>\n

Those of us who have been in "church" all our lives are prone to think everyone has been brought up as we have. Through the vision of our Pastors we have seen the need for Awaken because so many in our flock do not know how to get connected, study their Bibles, pray, what their responsibility is financially or in serving, or even that they should even reach others. This series was much needed. Our home group has been blessed by it. I am in three groups and I am being blessed by each. Praise God!<\/strong><\/div>\n

The verse this week is such a complete "circle", because it involves everyone. We must remember that others listen and watch, and we could be the only church they see. I'm really enjoying the Awaken study, because its allowing me to look at myself, not so much to judge others. (even though I sometimes fail).......<\/strong><\/div>\n

It is appearant to me that God has called us all to form christian relationships and as we grow as christians to go even further and mentor younger brothers and sisters in Christ. These relationships can begin in many ways and one very important way to develop these relationships is through Mens and Womens small groups.<\/strong><\/div>\n
